The relationship that Mandebvu has with our black The relationship that Mandebvu has with our black rhinos, Shanu and Tafika is such a special one 🤍. Mandebvu and Amber, Shanu's mother, had an incredible and unbreakable connection, broken only by Amber's untimely death in 2007, when Shanu was just two years old. Fast forward 16 years and Mandebvu has a strong bond with both Shanu and Shanu's own daughter, Tafika - a love that has transcended three generations and more than 30 years.

We do not know how they communicate, only that they do 🦏+🐘=💚.
